TAKING INTO ACCOUNT ENVIRONMENTAL AND ERGONOMIC INDICATORS WHEN CREATING A DESIGN OF A MODERN CHILDREN’S TOY PROJECT

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of children’s toy design excellence, taking into account the relationship between ergonomics and environmental friendliness. One of the most important and socially significant conditions for a designer is the creation of toys for children, where design is an important condition for increasing the effectiveness of the toy offers created. The relevance of this issue lies in the increased demand for the creation of modern toys, their safety and practicality. It is noted that in the context of modern culture, the role of children’s toys in the upbringing of the younger generation is dynamically changing and undergoing significant changes in the form, content and methods of realizing this role, while maintaining a focus on activating cognitive processes, developing creativity and forming aesthetic taste. The article emphasizes that a modern toy should be attractive, meet the peculiarities of the child’s physical development, be easy to use, and be harmonious in proportions. The author substantiates that the main role of toys in the children’s environment is the development and upbringing of a child. Toys are considered a tool for socialization, and they also contribute to the transfer of social and cultural experience. It is determined that the ergonomic properties of toys determine the degree of convenience of using them and performing manipulative operations. Each toy is individual and has its own ergonomic characteristics. The relevance of creating a design for a modern children’s toy, taking into account environmental and ergonomic indicators, is noted. The main criteria and requirements for creating a modern toy are analyzed, and the author’s own design project for a children’s toy is graphically presented and its advantages are identified. The scientific novelty lies in the comprehensive consideration and analysis of the features of creating a modern toy for children’s development, capable of ensuring environmental friendliness and safety, and the development of an own design project for creating a modern children’s toy that will be practical, safe and not harmful to the health and life of the child. Practical significance. The design of the modern «Puzzle Construction Toy» developed by us will ensure the full development of the child’s mental, creative abilities and personal qualities. It will also meet environmental friendliness, ergonomics, aesthetics, be practical for parents and teachers, and most importantly, will contribute to the mental development of a modern child.
