Abstract

The article explores the features of UX (or UI) design for virtual and augmented reality. It is said that UX and UI designers are uniquely positioned to lend their expertise in the early stages of VR and AR product development. Virtual reality (VR) is defined as total immersion in a virtual reality simulated as a digital reality. In this sense, we completely replace the visual and auditory stimuli of physical situations with a virtual environment. Augmented reality refers to digital data and images that are superimposed on physical reality. This augmented reality experience is like a computer screen overlaying what we normally perceive as our world. Understanding user needs and expectations, planning flows and interactions, and creating a great user experience can help create an effective augmented and virtual reality solution. The article outlines original heuristic approaches to UX. The five elements of UX design are one of the most common frameworks used by UX designers to create successful designs. The five elements (in order from abstract to concrete) consist of strategy, scale, structure, skeleton, and surface. The 5 key pillars of UI and UX in AR are listed, namely: environment, movement, check-in, interaction, feedback. UX and UI designers are uniquely positioned to provide their expertise in the early stages of VR and AR product development. Understanding user needs and expectations, planning flows and interactions, and creating a great user experience can help create an effective augmented and virtual reality solution. Today, UX (User experience) is an integral part of the development of any website or application. Considering its importance in the design process is inevitable on the way to success. The more people think about it and work on it, the more different definitions appear for this phenomenon. Virtual reality UX has really changed the way we interact with technology. The way people see, think, and feel has been reimagined from the ground up thanks to VR. To monitor the VR design process, it is necessary to do the following: comprehensive research, brainstorming, processing specifications, prototyping, and usability testing.
